22/01 : Marianne Vos (Ned-Rab) took her 15th (out of 15 races) win in this cyclocrossseason. In her homerace in Hoogerheide (WC) the defending worldchampion (next week in Koksijde) finished with a bonus of 1'28" on the European champion Daphny Van Den Brand (Ned-Aad) who becomes in her last season the winner of the worldcup. Katherine Nash (Cze-Lun) took the third podiumspot today. The US-champion Katherine Compton (Usa-Rab) had to be pleased with a foruth spot today while Lucie Cahinel-Lefevre (Fra) defended the Francho honour taking place five. . Top 20

21/01 : Marianne Vos (Ned-Rab) was the best in the cyclocross in Rucphen (C2). The day before the worldcuprace in Hoogerheide, the worldchampion wasx again better then Daphny Van Den Brand (Ned-Aad). The third podiumspot was occupied by Nikki Harris (Gbr-Tel). More later. Top 20

17/01 : The third and final criterium in the Sontos Women's Cup (Nat) is won by Alexis Rhodes (Aus-Gre) after a solo. The sprint of an elite group for place two was won by her teammate and yesterday's winner Judith Arndt (Ger-Gre). Loren Rowney (Aus-Spe) stranded on a third place today. Due to the points of her second place Judith Arndt (Ger-Gre) becomes finally the overallwinner of this three-days race. Top 10

16/01 : Judith Arndt (Ger-Gre) took the win in the second criterium in the Santos Women's Cup (Nat) doubling the whole field. Gracie Elvin (Aus-Ais) finished as second on Prospect Road. Amanda Spratt (Aus-Gre) completed the teamsucces taking a third stageplace today. Rebecca Werner (Aus-Spe) remains the lead in the overallranking. Top 10

15/01 : Even a crash couldn't stop Marianne Vos (Ned-Rab) today of winning the Worlcuprace cyclocross in Lievin. At the finish the worldchampion had a bonus of 48" on the European champion Daphny Van Den Brand (Ned-Aad). The Us champion Katherine Compton (Usa-Rab) stood on podiumspot three today. Caroline Mani (Fra) was the first homerider finishing on spot four. The British champion Helen Wyman (Gbr-Kon) completed the top five. Daphny Van Den Brand (Ned-Aad) is the leader in the worldcupranking. Top 20

15/01 : The first stage in and round Rymill Park in the Santos Women's Cup is won by homerider Rebecca Werner (Aus-Spe). After 17 laps she was faster then Grace Sulzberger (Aus-Ais). Skye-Lee Armstrong (Aus-Nsw) crossed the finishline as third while Nicole Whitburn (Aus-Vic) sprinted herself towards place four. Jessei MacLean (Aus-Gre) completed the sprint ad fifht of this small group. Rebecca Werner (Aus-Spe) will start as raceleader in the second criterium tomorrow. Top 10

08/01 : This weekend was the traditional national championshipsweekend cyclocross in Europe. In Belgium it was Sanne Cant (Box) (photo Kris Claeyé) who took for the third time in a row the tricolore. Joyce Vanderbeken (Dec) and Hilde Quintens (Mel) joined her on the podium in Hooglede. In Holland Marianne Vos (Rab) was unbeatable. The worldchampion took the title with 1'08 bonus on Daphny Van Den Brand (Aad) while Sophie De Boer (Tel) took the bronze. In France Lucie Chainel is the new champin. silver and bronze went to Pauline Ferrend-Prévot (Rab) and Caroline Mani. It Italy Eva Lechner (Col) was again the best beating Vania Rossi. Top 10

07/01 : Amanda Spratt (Aus-Gre) is the new national champion roadracing in Australia. After 102km of racing, the winner of the last stage in teh Jayco Bay finished solo to take her first national title. Three riders had to sprint 45" later for the silver medal and it was Tiffany Cromwell (Auus-Gre) who took the second place. Rachel Neylan (Aus)Nut) was satisfied with the bronze. Alexis Rhodes (Aus-Gre) was the fastest of the first bunch at 1'30 and grabbed place four. Gracie Elvin completed the top five. Sinead Noonan took place 12 and becomes the new champion U23, Top 10

04/01 : The Greenedgeteam took a second stagewin in the Jayco Bay Classic (Nat). In the fourth and final stage Amanda Spratt (Aus-Gre) finished as first with a few seconds bonus on the sprinting bunch of which Melissa Hoskins (Aus-Gre) won the sprint and becomes also the overallwinner of this four-days race. Chloe Hosking (Aus) the winner of the first stage had to be happy with a third place today. Rochelle Gilmore (Aus-Llt) is still looking for her sprinterslegs and finished as fourth. Annette Edmondson (Aus) completed the top five in this final stage. Top 10

03/01 : In Portarlington it was Shara Gillow (Aus-Ger) who took a solowin at the end of stage three in the Jayco Bay Classic (Nat). Grace Sulzberger (Aus-Jay) claimed 23" later the second place beating Tiffany Cromwell (Aus-Gre) in the sprint. Amanda Spratt (Aus-Gre) completed the teamsucces taking place four at 50". While Jessie Maclean (Aus-Gre) was the fourth Greenedge-rider in the top five. Melissa Hoskins (Aus-Gre) who took the sprint for place seven becomes the new leader in the overallranking with a bonus of one point. Top 10
